For now, while in this early stage of my authoring journey, I am Yinka Ogundipe, a CPA and Attorney who is working on adding “published” Author to my storyline. In addition, I am a wife, mother to three wonderful young adults, and an in-waiting (albeit impatiently) mother-in-law to be.

Like you, over the years, there have been many seasons when I knew I could not manage life on my own. I needed to pray but simply did not have the words. There were many hand-wringing moments as my children went through various stages of growth and at schools when prayer was the only solution. And this applies even now that they are successfully launched.

Over time, the Lord laid it on my heart to write prayers for such moments; short, yet real, heartfelt prayers, as a first response to the various challenges we and our children face.

Heartfelt Prayers was established for that purpose, to inspire and empower parents like me to live an EXTRAORDINARY life by prioritizing God, praying unceasingly as He commanded, and integrating prayer into all facets of our lives, not just during devotional times or in the moment of crisis.

These prayers resonate whatever season you are in; whether you are overwhelmed or at ease, regardless of your child’s age—be they a tot, tween, teenager, or young adult. I invite you to join me in prayer, seeking the Lord’s guidance, protection, and the fulfillment of His purposes in our children’s lives.
